Author Biography
My name is Christina Pozzie and I am a creative nonfiction writer exploring the intersections of motherhood, neurodiversity, identity, and the quiet rituals that shape who we become. My work blends lyric storytelling with research‑informed reflection, drawing on my experiences as a mother and advocate for my neurodivergent child. I am drawn to the edges of things—the liminal spaces where caregiving meets selfhood, where uncertainty becomes a teacher, where small moments reveal larger truths.
My essays braid sensory detail, personal narrative, and cultural context to illuminate the emotional architecture of everyday life. I am currently expanding my capstone project into a larger collection about caregiving, resilience, and the shifting boundaries of identity. My goal is to create writing that helps readers feel seen, grounded, and less alone in their own in‑between spaces.
WELCOME
Welcome to Tending the Edges, a space shaped by story, curiosity, and the quiet work of paying attention. I write about motherhood, neurodiversity, and the ways our identities shift in the in‑between places—where research meets lived experience, where caregiving meets selfhood, where the world asks us to be both tender and fierce at once.
Here you’ll find essays-in-progress, reflections on the writing life, and resources for those navigating similar terrain. I hope that you feel recognized here—that something in these words helps you breathe a little deeper, think a little differently, or feel a little less alone.
I’m glad you’re here. Let’s walk the edges together.

Works in Progress
This page offers a window into the projects currently taking shape on my desk and in my life. Here, you’ll find summaries, excerpts, and notes from essays and chapters in progress—pieces that explore motherhood, neurodiversity, identity, and the quiet rituals that anchor us. These works are still growing, shifting, and finding their form, and this space allows readers to follow along as they evolve. My hope is that this page feels like an invitation into the creative process rather than a polished display case: a place where curiosity, vulnerability, and discovery can coexist.
